10 Reasons to Hire My Home Architect Now

10 Reasons to Hire My Home Architect Now

Should you Wait for Housing Market Reassurance or Hire your Home Architect Now?

Good questions to ask. We’ll give you the bottom line up front:
Yes, hire a home architect now.

10 Reasons to Hire Your Home Architect Now:

1.  WE ARE IN A HOUSING MARKET REBOUND.

Warren Buffett, one of the most successful American investors the world has ever known, said in his 2/27/2010 annual letter to his shareholders:  “Within a year or so, residential housing problems should largely be behind us.”  What does this mean?  It means that we are in a housing market rebound right now during the current year.  You might ask yourself: “What should I do?”  Hire a home architect now.

2.  BUFFETT IS CHARTING THE COURSE FOR HIS OWN COMPANIES: YOU CAN TOO.

Mr Buffett has been gearing up his own housing manufacturing and construction materials companies for the housing market recovery, which is underway right now.  And Warren Buffett makes judicious use of his funds.  He is not the sort of investor that makes light of important market trends like the current housing market correction.  He researches the market very thoroughly and understands the underlying forces at work, then he has the information necessary to move his funds into the proper channels to obtain the greatest return on his investments.  And he is investing heavily in his own housing material manufacturing and housing construction businesses NOW.  You can do the same, by starting your own home project soon.  There are far worse places to be in this economy than riding on the coattails of Warren Buffett.  His actions can be your friend.

3.  YOU CAN BE LIKE BURGER KING RIDING ON THE MARKET ANALYSIS OF MCDONALD’S.

McDonald’s hamburger chain performs in-depth analysis of the markets and locations of where their business would be optimized for maximum return.  It has been rumored that Burger King, knowing this, watches what McDonald’s does, then builds a new Burger King across the street from the new McDonald’s, taking advantage of McDonald’s market research to benefit themselves.  You can do the same: watch what Warren Buffett does, then do what you can to improve your situation, knowing that a housing market leader like Buffett understands what he is doing.  You can use this information to help your own plans to have a new home designed and built.  You have been waiting for the right time.  Mr. Buffett’s actions indicate that he believes that the right time is NOW.

4.  DO NOT WAIT FOR “MEANINGLESS REASSURANCE”, THAT WILL BE TOO LATE.

On the subject of housing market reassurance, here is what Mr. Buffett said:

“Those who invest only when commentators are upbeat, end up paying a heavy price for meaningless reassurance…We’ve put a lot of money to work during the chaos of the last two years.  It’s been an ideal period for investors.  A climate of fear is their best friend.”

In other words, if you wait until you are absolutely, positively 100% in the middle of the completely recovered housing market, you will get to suffer higher prices for construction, because builders and architects will once again be busy meeting the renewed normal demand, once the overstock is gone.

5.  INTEREST RATES WILL SOON BE RISING: GET YOURS WHILE THEY ARE LOW.

Interest rates will be rising in the next few days and will likely continue to rise.  Here’s why: Merry Soellner Mountain Properties, a Keller Williams real estate broker, said that just today their entire staff had a meeting with a SunTrust representative.  This SunTrust loan officer said that the Fed is discontinuing the purchase of mortgage backed securities effective March 31, 2010.  He said that this means that housing mortgage interest rates will soon be rising.  Meaning, if you want to take advantage of today’s low-low mortgage interest rates, get’em while they’re hot, because they will be increasing very, very soon.  The longer you wait, the higher they will likely become.  For instance, paying an added 3% on your home loan could mean that you end up paying more than another $500,000 on your loan interest over 30 years, if your initial mortgage was for $750k, and if you obtained somewhere around 6% now for 30 years fixed, versus paying perhaps 9% later (if you decided to keep waiting for a complete market recovery).

6.  MATERIAL SUPPLIERS WILL GIVE YOU DISCOUNTS ON MATERIALS RIGHT NOW.

Because not everyone in the world watches what Warren Buffett does, not everyone understands that the housing market is in the process of a recovery during 2010.  Therefore, not all of the material suppliers understand this.  All they know is that they have suffered a couple of down years, so you are likely to be able to obtain great prices on your construction materials now.  As the following weeks and months go by and the current housing over-supply is consumed and the demand curve intersects with the evaporating supply, immediately material suppliers will be inundated with orders for their wares.  This means that their discounts will shortly disappear. Hire your home architect now so that he or she can define your materials on your design documents so that your builder can take your plans to the material supply houses for quotes while prices are available with substantial discounts.  Waiting will only get you higher prices.

7.  CONTRACTORS WILL BLESS THE GROUND YOU WALK ON RIGHT NOW AND GIVE YOU LOWER PRICES FOR THEIR MANAGEMENT, PROFIT, AND LABOR.

Right now, you have builders fighting to get in line to build your house.  They will cut their administrative and profit margins to the bone, just to survive and try to keep a skeleton crew employed in their offices, if they still have office (many no longer can afford this).  As soon as the current over-supply of homes that are already built is consumed, these builders will begin to get busy again.  As soon as that happens, they may be too busy to talk to you.  Why?  Because they will already be working hard on other people’s projects, and may not have time for you.  And if they do make a few minutes for you, guess what?  The incredibly low prices will probably be gone.  Therefore, builders will charge you more if you wait too long during this current housing market recovery.

8.  LAND PRICES ARE LOWER THAN THEY HAVE BEEN IN YEARS.

If you are looking for a great deal on land on which to build your home, prices are at bargain prices, when viewed from the last several years.  Understanding that we are now entering a housing market rebound, what do you suppose is going to happen to land prices once the current over-supply of homes is consumed?  The land prices will start to rise, along with prices for anything related to the housing market rebound.  That beautiful acreage you have been coveting in the outskirts of Atlanta, Orlando, Charlotte, Burbank, Aspen, Dallas, Chicago, or the mountains and that is now available for a deeply discounted price will be either bought out from under you or you will see its price skyrocket.  You will kick yourself, saying:  “I should have bought that, when I knew that the housing market was rebounding!  Why did I wait?”  Knowing this, why should you wait indeed?  As long as your financial circumstances allow you to take advantage of opportunities like this, you should do it and do it now and be happy that you got a bargain.  And if you happen to be looking for mountain real estate, you might want to consider: www.CashiersNCHomes.com.

9.  PREMIUM HOME ARCHITECTS ARE AVAILABLE NOW AND MAY NOT BE LATER.

Home architects are normally very busy, designing nice houses for their clients.  Right now, many of them will be available to help you with your project.  As the current housing market recovers during the coming weeks and months, they will begin to get booked-up again, meaning that you might have to wait or find someone else to design your house, who may not be your first choice.  Take advantage of the current situation (which will be changing daily during the rebound).  You may want to tell yourself to hire a home architect now.

10.  ENJOYMENT OF LIFE HAVING A CUSTOM HOME DESIGNED AND BUILT FOR YOU.

If you have experienced the joy of having a house designed around your lifestyle and your site, you may understand this.  Most people have not enjoyed this.  There is nothing quite as delightful as seeing your house design developing as your home architect creates it, then watching your contractor build it.  Then the magic day comes, walking through the front door into your custom designed and built residence.  What a feeling!  This is your house, built around what you like, oriented to your views!  Here is your large kitchen with the huge island, around which your family will gather as you prepare meals for all to enjoy.  There is a comfortable living room, where you and your spouse may read books and talk and watch the dancing flames in your stone fireplace.  Out there is your outdoor living room, with views of the surrounding countryside.  What should you do?  Hire your home architect now.
